Quite a suitable subject for us this week as a certain little lady in the Brown household turned 2 yesterday! Her present from mummy and daddy was a brand new shiny kitchen so she could open her own cafe 
it wasn’t long before her first customer arrived either

OK so I admit I’m going to be extremely predictable here and I imagine there will be quite a lot of very similar posts like this but if I have to say the things that I am proudest of then of course it is the two tiny terrors – MasterB and MissB. I still can’t believe that somehow I’ve managed to achieve such perfection and I feel like pinching myself.
How can I not be proud of these two?

In our house we have “the library” , it sounds posh but what else do you call a large collection of books?
We have hundreds of books covering politics, travel, classics, biographies etc but hidden away on the bottom shelf is my guilty pleasure

Hmm shoes – well I have a photo of a shoe habit that cost me a fortune a few years ago, want to see it?
Bet you weren't expecting a photo of a horse's arse were you?
OK so I’ll explain to those of you still scratching your heads The photo is of course of my old farrier Mario (the Italian Stallion) hot shoeing my old horse. A shoe habit which cost me £60 every 6 weeks or so – ouch!

And this week I’d like to take you a long way back (well about 4 years!) to my honeymoon. We went to Florence, Rome and Sorrento and it was fabulous. My favourite photo from those long hot sunny days? This one taken at the Colosseum
Yes the British weather came with us to Rome!
