Hello Canvas Review

When I was contacted by Hello Canvas recently to ask if I’d like to receive a 20x28inch canvas to review, well you can imagine my response :) I love taking photographs, I must take hundreds but they all get stored on the computer and rarely seen so it’s lovely to have some on display.

The photo I chose was this one, it was taken by my husband on his iPhone when we were visiting Durham Botanical Gardens last year. We were in the greenhouse and the light was amazing, MissB was fascinated by the “rain” falling. It probably isn’t normally recommended to get an iPhone photo blown up to 20×28 but this photo was bizarrely clear and focused so I thought I’d see what happened. The photo was 2.4mb in size to give you an idea of the image quality I sent to Hello Canvas.

This morning, this arrived! It is now in pride of place in my kitchen and to say I’m amazed by it is am understatement!

Considering it was only taken on an iPhone and the canvas is huge the detail is amazing, just look at how detailed MissB’s face is.

I’ve just been checking out the Hello Canvas website and can you believe a 20x28inch canvas is only £39!! That seems seriously cheap to me considering how huge the canvas is and that price even includes shipping!

I’m hugely impressed with the quality of the canvas I received, I think the photos of it speak for themselves and I admit being extremely surprised when I then checked out the price! I feel a bit sad that I haven’t got one of MasterB but at that price, as soon as I find the right photo I’ll be ordering one :) They get a huge thumbs up from the Brown household :)

Bags of Love – My beautiful Fathers Day gifts!

When Bags of Love contacted me to ask if I would like a 12″x16″ canvas of my choice to review I was more than happy to accept, although me being a little cheeky asked for two (well I do have 2 children after all). I thought a canvas of each of the children would make a fabulous Fathers Day gift for my husband. Well the canvases have just arrived and I can’t resist showing them to you (just don’t tell my husband!). They are great quality and look absolutely beautiful.

This one of MissB was taken using my Iphone and not a fancy high megapixel camera but it has still come out really well, it’s one of my favourite ever photos of her and now we can have it permanently on view

And this one of MasterB was taken by my sister Sonia Thorpe Photography and because she is my sister I’m allowed to use her images for things like this :)
